The University of New Mexico finished the final day of competition at the Air Force Diving Invite strong as Aubrey Bush captured the top spot on the platform with a season-high mark of 247.35. Bush holds the highest score on the platform in the Mountain West Conference. Alexandra Lusk finished ninth in the same event with a score of 180.00.

The Lobos also competed on the 3-meter dive in the final day of competition. Lusk led the Lobos with a fourth-place finish totaling 267.84 points. She was followed by Sasha Evangulova in fifth who tallied 266.88 points. Bush finished 10th ( 252.54) and Ashlee Erickson rounded out the Lobos in 21st (222.39).

In day one of the competition the women competed on the 3-meter springboard event. Erickson posted an impressive second-place finish with a mark of 263.10. Evangulova finished fifth in 250.45 points. In 10th was Lusk (242.10) followed by Bush in 12th (237.55). A total of 32 divers competed in the event.

UNM is 2-7 on the season and 1-5 in MWC meets.

The Lobos will host Utah in their final home meet of the season Feb. 7 at West Mesa Pool. Competition is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
