ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico women’s basketball team is ranked 25th this week in the Associated Press poll released today. The Lobos are 11-1 on the season and off to their best start in school history. UNM cracks the AP national poll for the first time since Jan. 1, 2007. The Lobos are currently the only Mountain West Conference school in the national polls this week.
The Lobos face No. 3 Texas A&M (10-0) Tuesday in College Station, Texas at 7 p.m. CST.
