University of New Mexico kicker James Aho was named the Sporting News Freshman All-America second team today. The Roswell, N.M. product was also named to the second team All-Freshman team last week by CollegeFootballNews.com.
Aho, who hit a New Mexico freshman record 18-24 field goals (3rd MWC; T-17th nationally) this fall, is the first Lobo kicker to be named a Freshman All-American.
