The Washington Redskins announced yesterday that former University of New Mexico offensive tackle Devin Clark was signed from their practice squad. Clark, who was a first team all-Mountain West Conference selection last year, had spent the first 14 weeks on the Washington practice squad after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent last spring.

The New Mexico offensive line group, known as The Hitmen, currently has three former players active in the NFL: Clark, OT Ryan Cook (Minnesota Vikings), and OT/OG Robert Turner (New York Jets). Five different UNM offensive lineman have played in the NFL over the past three years.

Another former Lobo, Brian Ramsay, is a starting offensive tackle for the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts
