LOS ANGELES, Calif.– Juniors Justin Davis and Simon Ejdemyr were selected to the 2008 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Far West All-Region team today as announced by the NSCAA. Davis picked up second team honors as a forward while Ejdemyr earned third team honors as a defender. This marks the second postseason award for the pair. Both Davis and Ejdemyr were named first team All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation on Nov. 19.

Davis led the Lobos in all offensive categories in 2008. Davis’ speed and nose for the ball led to seven goals, six assists for a total of 20 points. The Litchfield Park, Ariz. native lead the MPSF with 20 points and five of Davis’ six goals were gamewinners.

Ejdemyr, a defensive standout, scored a career high 11 points this season with five goals and one assist. The Boras, Sweden native was perfect on penalty shots for the season going 4-4
