ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico women’s basketball team has cancelled its Friday scrimmage and will conclude the preseason Sunday against Alaska-Anchorage at 2 p.m. UNM is coming off its first exhibition victory Tuesday night against Melbourne, 83-41. The Lobos open the regular-season on Nov. 15 against Alcorn State inside The Pit starting at 7 p.m.
