- With the3-2 win New Mexico improves to 8-5-2 on the season and moves into sole possession of second place with a 4-2-0 mark in MPSF play.
- Junior Justin Davis scored a goal and an assist in tonight’s match. He now has a team-high 15 points on five goals and five assists this season. He is currently in second place in the MPSF in scoring.
- Senior Jack Smithson logged his fourth assist of the year on Davis’s goal in the 42nd minute. T was his four assist of the season and the 11th of his career.
- Junior Simon Ejdemyr converted a PK in the 65th minute to give UNM a 2-1 lead. It was his third goal of the season and the seventh of his career. He currently has seven points on three goals and an assist in 2008.
- Senior Mike Porter scored his first goal of the season in the 77th minute in what would prove to be the game-winner. It was his third career goal.
- Junior Zach Tierney logged his third assist of the year on Porter’s goal. It was also his ninth career assist.
- Sophomore Justin Fite got the start and played all 90 minutes in goal. It was his first career action in a Division I regular season game.
- Sophomore James Urbany got his first career start tonight. He played 52 minutes in the midfield for UNM.
