More Tournament Wins and Honors … The Lobos earned runner-up honors at the Ameritas Players Challenge, hosted by Nebraska, over the weekend. It is the third all-tournament team honor for each player this season.
A part of history … The crowd at the Devaney Center in Lincoln on Friday night to watch UNM-St. John’s and Nebraska- LSU topped out at an NCAA regular season record of 13,412. The next day 4,153 crammed into the cozy confines of the NU Coliseum to watch the Huskers win their 107th consecutive home match in the Coliseum. It was also a sellout, again, for the Huskers. The sea of red cheered for every team on great plays with the loudest coming for the home team.
