University of New Mexico student-athletes gathered to welcome the school year earlier this week. The Lobos were welcomed to Lobo Theatre with pizza, listened to guest speakers, and finished the night with a viewing of Remember the Titians.
University President David Schmidly spoke to the group, along with Senior Associate Athletics Director Tim Cass, and Student-Athlete Advisory Council president Gary Beresford who welcomed back his fellow athletes.
