The Mtn. – MountainWest Sports Network continues its annual Nine Schools, Nine Weeks programming with New Mexico Week beginning Monday, June 30 at 6:00 a.m. Nine Schools, Nine Weeks focuses on each of the nine Mountain West Conference institutions. During each designated week, programming which consists of the best games and shows covering the select member institution will be shown.

Some programming highlights for New Mexico Week include:

Monday, June 30: Six football games will air between 8:30am – 10:30pm MT, plus season review shows from 2006, 2007, and replays of the 2008 Spring Football Press Conference.

Tuesday, July 1: Around the Mountain, The Mtn.’s weekly roundtable discussion program, airs at 7:30pm MT touting a New Mexico theme. The lineup also includes four women’s basketball games, two baseball contests, and airings of the 2008 MWC Women’s Golf Championships features on A Day in the Life.

Wednesday, July 2: Football is the theme of the day, with fresh episodes of It’s a Numbers Game airing at 7:30pm and 7:45pm MT.

Thursday, July 3: Women’s athletics, including softball, volleyball, and basketball are predominantly scheduled with a new episode of Mountain Peak Performances beginning at 7:30pm MT. Hosted by Anne Marie Anderson, Mountain Peak Performances provides extensive coverage of MWC Olympic sports.

Friday, July 4: Celebrate our nation’s birthday with The Mtn. with a smorgasboard of programming that would rival many cookout offerings. Try a little of everything: original programming and shows featuring New Mexico athletics, past season reviews and highlights, and an encore of A Day in the Life which spotlights the men’s basketball on their preseason trip to the Bahamas last year. Need a break from the grill? Catch a live episode of The Mountain View, presented by Dodge at 7:00pm MT.

Saturday, July 5: Those who missed the replays of the great New Mexico football games from the past few seasons will have the chance to see them Saturday, along with episodes of The Mountain View, presented by Dodge.

Sunday, July 6: New Mexico Week concludes with a day devoted to some of the most memorable men’s basketball games and highlights from the past two seasons.

Entries will be drawn daily and weekly, with a grand prize drawing conducted at the conclusion of the Nine Schools, Nine Weeks programming in August.

Every day throughout the sweepstakes, a 10-second on-air clip will give viewers a codeword to enter into the entry form found at The Mtn.’s official website, www.themtn.tv.

Codewords will air a minimum of 11 times per day.

A daily prize will be awarded Monday through Sunday of each week with the names of the winners posted online. Each Monday begins a new entry pool.One weekly winner will be drawn from that week’s entries. Weekly winners will also be announced online, and prizes include $50.00 Visa gift cards and more.One grand prize winner will be drawn from all entries received throughout the nine weeks with the grand prize winner being awarded a high-def Sony Bravia LCD television.
