The American Cancer Society Relay for Life was held June 4-7, 2008 at the Balloon Fiesta Park. The events started with a dinner for cancer survivors and their caregivers on Wednesday evening. The Relay began Friday evening and continued through Saturday morning. Members of the University of New Mexico Spirit Program were out at the dinner on Wednesday to volunteer their time. They were also out at the Relay on Friday evening helping with the events to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
