The University of New Mexico swimming and diving team will celebrate its 2007-08 season with a banquet on Saturday, April 26 at Gardunos on the Green at Balloon Fiesta Park at 6 p.m.
Olympic gold medalist Laura Wilkinson will be the guest speaker of the evening. Wilkinson is the only woman in the history of USA Diving, on platform, to win a gold medal at the Olympic Games, World Cup, and World Championship. She is competing for a spot on the 2008 U.S. Olympic team which will compete in Beijing, China, this August.
