A controversial judges decision, based primarily on singing and dancing, dethroned the defending champion Lobos in the Green Chile Stew Cook-Off, but a good time was had by all as the New Mexico Bowl week festivities got underway officially on Wednesday night at the El Pinto Restaurant in Albuquerque’s historic North Valley.
