BOISE, IDAHO — University of New Mexico women’s tennis team finish up at the Boise Fall Invite winning more than half of their matches (19-15). Mackenzie White and Emma Hayman each add to the wins column on their individual record. White won five of her six matches, three in singles and two in doubles with partner Jennifer Ryba. Emma Hayman also added three singles wins and two doubles victories with partner Ola Abou-Zekry.

On the final day in Boise, the Lobos won three of four doubles matches and three singles matches. Lucy Scott and Sandra Zmak along with Hayman and Abou-Zekry beat doubles teams from Montana State. Maria Sotirchos and Victoria Tessmar won their doubles match against Utah’s team of Reveche and Maushon (8-6). White and Ryba lost their only match of the weekend against Utah’s Bourdeages/Kryunchkova (8-5).

In singles Hayman, White, and Ryba all won their singles matches. Ryba won against Leigh Walsh (6-3, 6-) from Utah. White beat Klaudia Wlodarczyk from Boise State (6-4, 6-4). Hayman defeated Sjovhan Cavan (6-2, 6-0) from Oregon.

The Lobos get set to travel to Midland, Texas for the Collegiate Invitational before they return home for the Individual Tournament.
