ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — University of New Mexico men’s tennis junior Miles Bugby advanced to the finals but New Mexico State’s Jim Brouleau won the championship 6-2, 6-2. Bugby was the only Lobo to play on the final day of the home fall tournament.
Winning the B Draw Championship David Flodberg from Northern Arizona. Flodberg defeated Greg Mitchell from NMMI (6-7, 6-2, 6-4). The doubles final was not played since the teams both are from New Mexico State. Brouleau and his partner Eduardo Salas advanced to the final along with teammates Alejandro De Mucha and Stefan McKinney.
The Lobos prepare to travel to Las Cruces, N.M., for the ITA Fall Regional (Oct. 17-21).
