– Lobos allowed NMSU QB Chase Holbrook to pass for 473 yards on 47-63 attempts…it is the most completions against the Lobos in school history (previous was 44 by Texas Tech’s Sonnie Cumbie in 2004 (44/69))…473 yards passing is the most allowed by a Rocky Long Lobo squad…Holbrook also passed for 472 yards last season.

Senior WR Travis Brown
-7 catches for 106 yards…third career game with 100-yards receiving
-Extended his consecutive games with a catch streak to 27 (has a catch in 32 of his 35 career games)
-Passes Martinez Williams (1996-99) for eighth all-time in receptions (118) at UNM
-Ranks 14th all-time at UNM with 1,292 receiving yards

Sophomore QB Donovan Porterie
-18-25 passing for 342 yards and two touchdowns…eight yards shy of his career high set against Utah (350) last season
-Completed his first four passes for 104 yards…then missed on his next six attempts…finished the game by completing 14 of last 15 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown

-3-3 on FG attempts…made from 30, 38 and 21 yards in the game…has now made four in a row.

Freshman FB Josh Fussell
-First career reception went for a 36-yard touchdown.

-One sack in the game gave him 15.5, tying for ninth all time at UNM with Jesse Becton (1991-92)

MISC.
-UNM improves to 65-28-5 against NMSU, including 5 straight and 7 of the past 8…The Lobos have won 14 of the last 15 vs. NMSU in University Stadium…only NMSU win in Albuquerque since 1976 came in 1999.
