University Stadium is THE place to be in the fall months of 2007. In addition to the Lobo football team returning 20 starters and chasing a Mountain West Conference title and a fifth bowl appearance in the last six seasons, there’s all kinds of new activities happening before the game gets underway:

Rocky Mountain RV Overnight Lot

• Located in the north end of Tailgate Lot No. 2, which is northeast of University Stadium

• Adjacent to the 1st Community Bank Lobo Fan Fest

• The lot opens at 5 p.m. the day before each of UNM’s six home games

• All RVs must be self-contained and they can tow one extra vehicle

• A pass is required for the overnight lot with the cost at $100 for the season or $25 per game

• The pass includes access to overnight parking, security, bathroom facilities, close proximity to the Lobo Fan Fest and one game program

• Call 505/925-5014 about purchasing a pass for the lot

• Space permitting, RVs may still park day of the game at no charge when the parking lots open six hours before kickoff

1st Community Bank Lobo Football Fan Fest

• Located in Tailgate Lot No. 1, which is northeast of University Stadium

• Free admission for all fans

• Adjacent to the Rocky Mountain RV Overnight Lot

• Food vendors include Pizza Hut, Ribs Bones Jones, Twin Peaks restaurant and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream

• Party Professionals is providing slides, rides, jumpers and a 50-foot high climbing wall for kids of all ages

• The New Mexico National Guard will provide a 72-foot inflatable obstacle course

• A viewing tent to watch other college football games from across the country

• Live music presented by Isleta Casino and Resort

• Live pregame radio broadcast on NewsRadio 770 KKOB

Historical Recognition

• Action shots of former Lobo football greats Robin Cole and DonTrell Moore will be displayed on the west side of the press box…the photos measure 20 feet x 40 feet and are sponsored by Wells Fargo

• Action shots of 18 former Lobo football greats will be displayed on pole banners on the concourse at the north end of the stadium…the banners are 2 feet x 4 feet and are also sponsored by Wells Fargo

UNM Student Tailgate/Parking

• Located in the southeast corner of Tailgate 2

• Students must show their current UNM ID to enter the lot

• Access to the lot is by going west on Kathryn from Yale Blvd.

UNM Student Shuttle

• Provided by the athletics department and UNM Parking and Transportation Services, a courtesy shuttle will be provided to UNM dorm residents, fraternities and sororities

• The shuttle begins 2 hours prior to kickoff, operates until kickoff, then one hour after the game is over

• A specific shuttle route will be announced before the New Mexico State game

• UNM will have four (4) golf carts roaming the stadium parking lots starting two hours before kickoff. The carts will serve as courtesy shuttles for fans that need a lift from their car to the stadium. The carts will be marked Lobo Courtesy Shuttle. The shuttle will not operate after games.

Lobo Prowl

• The Lobo football team will unload at Fan Fest 2 to 2 1/2 hours before kickoff then walk through the tailgate lot en route to their locker room

New Concessions

• Green chili stew in multiple locations

• Six additional mobile concession carts

• Dakota buffalo burgers on the north concourse

• Selected hot and cold-weather food and drink items
