As a new season begins some familiar faces look to pick up where they let off. Senior wide receivers Marcus Smith and Travis Brown are working hard in fall camp to dazzle defenses with their speed, hands and ability to lead the Lobos to victory. After a breakthrough 2006 campaign for both players head coach Rocky Long has called the pair, “as good as anyone in our league.”

Smith and Brown visited with UNM media relations assistant Daniel Archuleta after a recent practice to discuss what they bring to the table, the pressure of being one of the league’s premier receiving tandems and to settle who is the best receiver on the team.
