With the 2007 Lobo Football home opener just over a month away against New Mexico State on Sept. 8, at 7:30 p.m. (M.D.T.), season tickets have been selling at record-breaking pace. As of July 24, 11,994 season tickets have been sold for the 2007 slate. That total is more than 300 tickets over the pace from 2005 when the Lobos set a single-season attendance record of 38,341 fans per game at University Stadium. In order to keep the season ticket sales moving, the University of New Mexico is again offering the Pizza Hut Lobo Football Family Pack.
In order to get the Pizza Hut Lobo Football Family Pack all fans have to do is purchase a large specialty pizza, a large one topping pizza, a single order of wings, breadsticks and a two liter for only $27.67 from a participating Pizza Hut. The receipt from the purchase is redeemable at the UNM Ticket Office at the Pit for two adult and two youth Cherry Level season tickets for only $90.
