COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Freshman Sandra Zmak made a splash for New Mexico at the annual Mountain West Conference Championship banquet, taking home all-conference singles and doubles honors. Junior Ola Abou-Zekry also garnered singles recognition while classmate Lucy Scott paired with Zmak for doubles honors. The awards are the first in the careers of all three athletes.

Zmak, who ended the season winning four straight matches at No. 2 singles, is 22-11 overall in her first year as a Lobos. Abou-Zekry, also ending the regular season on a high note, coming out victorious in her last three at No. 1, is 26-8 overall.

In doubles, Zmak and Scott teamed up in early February and have been dominating ever since, posting a 9-4 record in dual matches.
