Since the Mountain West Sports Network, better known as the mtn., launched Sept. 1, 2006, it has been dedicated to covering not only Mountain West football and basketball, but also the conference’s Olympic Sports. The Lobo baseball team is one of the many programs which has gained national exposure thanks to the mtn.’s efforts.

In addition to live game coverage, fans get a comprehensive array of news, features, and analysis about their favorite MWC teams and players. The Mtn.’s anchors and reporters provide viewers with extensive pre-game, between inning, and post-game coverage, along with weekly and seasonal analysis and wrap-ups.

The Mtn. also takes fans off the field and behind the scenes with coverage of the latest stats, press conferences, coaching developments and more. The studio shows that air weekly, delivering coverage of the Lobos, are It’s a Numbers Game (Tuesdays at 7 p.m.), Around the Mountain (Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.), A Day in the Life (Wednesdays at 7 p.m.) and Mountain Peak Performances (Thursdays at 7 p.m.).

Catch the mtn. in Albuquerque and Santa Fe on Comcast Channel 276. To find out how you can get the mtn. elsewhere, visit www.themtn.tv.

The Lobos will be on The Mtn. three times during the regular season in 2008 – May 2 and 3 at BYU, and May 17 vs. TCU at Isotopes Park.
