Albuquerque, N.M. — The 11th-ranked New Mexico women’s golf team will compete in the UNLV Spring Invitational on March 12-14 in Boulder City, Nev. The Lobos will participate in their third tournament and are coming off an eighth place finish at the UCF Challenge. UNM continues to prepare for the Mountain West Conference Championship on April 19-21 and will battle three conference foes at the invitational.
The Course: The UNLV Spring Invitational will be held at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev. The three-day event is 54-holes and will be played on a par 72-6,153 yard course.
The Field: The tournament field includes UNLV, Indiana, Texas Tech, Boise State, Long Beach State, BYU, Fresno State, Idaho, San Francisco, Campbell, Nebraska, Eastern Washington, Notre Dame, Washington State, Iowa, New Mexico State and San Diego State.
The Lineup: The Lobos keep the same lineup as the previous two tournaments. UNM will travel Alexandra Phelps, Giselle Claux, Mikaela Backstedt, Py Bengtsson and Jodi Ewart.
