The New Mexico Lobos will try and get back on track over the next few days as they have their only two-game home stand of the Mountain West Conference season.

UNM plays host to TCU Saturday night, then entertains a red-hot San Diego State team next Tuesday. Both games tip at 7:05 p.m. from The Pit/Bob King Court and will be televised over The mtn., Channel 276 on Comcast Cable in Albuquerque.

All UNM faculty and staff can purchase discounted tickets to the TCU game with a valid school ID. Adult tickets are $10, while youth tickets are $8. Call 925-5858 for more information. The ticket office at The Pit opens at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

After wins against Wyoming and Colorado State, the Lobos have lost to the top two teams in the league: 60-51 against Air Force last Saturday and 96-83 at BYU on Wednesday.

UNM is 14-12 overall and 3-8 in the Mountain West Conference. New Mexico is 12-3 at home this season and 45-6 in The Pit since the start of the 2004-05 campaign. All three home losses this season have come in league play. The Lobos have not lost four conference games in The Pit since 1981 when they finished 4-4. TCU is looking to stop a losing streak that has reached 10 games after an 82-66 loss Tuesday at Colorado State. The Horned Frogs are 10-14 overall and 2-10 in the MWC.

One of their league wins was 64-52 over New Mexico on Jan. 3. Brent Hackett scored 20 points and TCU overcame a first-half deficit. TCU trailed 33-28 at halftime, but took control by starting the second half with a 14-0 run.
