“I thought our guys played with great effort and showed great character. A couple of plays…if we execute, we get over the hump. I called the zone when Darger hit the three, so if you blame anybody, blame me. Our guys did a great job of playing together and sticking together. I am proud of our group. They hit a lot of tough shots tonight. We’ve got a lot of pride in this program. Our kids don’t give up. We didn’t get the win, but we got better.”
