Lobo fans should contact their favorite sports bars to see if tonight’s basketball game against No. 8 Wichita State is available. The game is being televised back to Wichita and the sports bars may be able to pick up the feed. Tipoff is 8:30 p.m. Albuquerque time from the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
Wichita State (9-0) is one of five remaining unbeaten teams in NCAA Div. I basketball. The Lobos are 8-2 and have won three in a row.
Saturday’s game would be televised only if New Mexico meets Kansas State. The game would be carried by Fox Sports Midwest and start at either 6 or 8:30 p.m. Mountain Time depending on the outcomes of this evening’s games.
New Mexico’s next home game is Thursday against Alcorn State. Tip time is 6 p.m. for the first round of the Comcast Lobo Invitational.
