Two championship tournament-ready courses await those who are willing to follow the path to greatness. Living legends of the game, including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Annika Sorenstam have measured their strides along these fairways.

Playing host to such events as The Skins Game, The Battle at BIGHORN, Senior PGA Match Play and the LPGA Samsung World Championship, BIGHORN’S awe-inspiring golf courses are known by many, but experienced first hand by only a fortunate few. We invite you to slip on your spikes and discover for yourself what makes BIGHORN Golf Club the best of the best.

Please join the University of New Mexico Department of Athletics and the Lobo Club on January 9 – 10, 2007 to play the Mountain and Canyon Courses at BIGHORN. This exclusive trip includes roundtrip air transportation via a private charter flight from Albuquerque to Palm Desert on the morning of January 9th. That afternoon features a round of golf at BIGHORN and we’ll cap off the day with dinner at R.D. Hubbard’s home. The evening’s accommodations are your own room at the luxurious J.W. Marriott Resort and Spa. Day two features breakfast on your own before teeing off at BIGHORN. We will fly back to Albuquerque the evening of January 10th. Ground transportation will be provided from the hotel, BIGHORN and the airport.

The cost is $2,000 for this fantastic opportunity which also includes a tax deductible donation to the University of New Mexico Lobo Club benefiting student-athlete scholarships at UNM.

There is limited space on this trip. For more information, please call Larry Ryan, Executive Director of the Lobo Club, at 505-925-5919 or send him an e-mail at larry@unm.edu

Here is what some are saying about last year’s trip to BIGHORN:

“This was a fantastic trip to an exclusive course that I’ve seen on TV during the Battle of Bighorn. Even a golf pro can’t get on this course. Virtually every hole was a signature hole for most courses. The charter flight in and out of Palm Springs was efficient and pleasant, in contrast to commercial travel these days. Mr. Hubbard, the owner ofBighorn and a UNM supporter, was a tremendous host. This was a great trip and helped financially support UNM athletics.”—-Dr. Tom DeCoster

“BIG HORN was VERY impressive! The course was tough but certainly a “must play” course for any golfer. I also found the entire real estate development extremely well done and Mr Hubbard’s hospitality top drawer.”—-Doug Vaughan, Vaughan Company Realtors
