Tulsa, Okla. – Two players from the University of New Mexico men’s tennis team competed today in the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships qualifying tournament. No. 90 Max Jones won his first round match against Blake Muller of Stanford, 6-4, 6-1. With the win Jones will continue on in his quest to return to the main draw which he made just a year ago. Fellow Lobo Johnny Parkes fell in his opening match to Sam Chang of Florida State 6-4, 6-2.
The tournament action will continue tomorrow at the University of Tulsa’s Michael D. Case Tennis Complex.
