ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Senior Mark Anderson, sophomore Robb Bierbaum and freshman Nick Geyer were named to the spring 2006 Academic All-Mountain West Conference team. A total of 731 student-athletes were named to the spring 2006 Academic All-MWC team. To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
BYU led the way with 168 student-athletes named to the team, followed by New Mexico (105) and UNLV (90), Colorado State (77), Wyoming (68), Air Force (64), Utah (63), TCU (59) and San Diego State (37).
