The 2006 Lobo Coaches’ Clinic will be held this Friday, April 7 at the L.F. “Tow” Diehm Athletics Center and University of New Mexico practice fields. For a $30 fee, coaches of all levels can receive hands-on training and instruction from the New Mexico football coaching staff. For registration information, contact Sylvia Lopez in the football office at 925-5700.
The clinic begins at 8 a.m. with a seminar with the UNM offensive coaching staff, including first-year coordinator and former UCLA head coach Bob Toledo. The defensive coaches will conduct a two-hour presentation on the 3-3 stack formation, starting at 11 a.m. After lunch, clinic attendees will be invited to sit in on player meetings between 1:30 and 3 p.m., leading up to spring practice.
Dinner will be served at 5:30, followed by Q & A sessions with each position coach in his respective meeting room at 7 p.m. The clinic concludes with a social, beginning at 8:30 p.m.
