Half Day Developmental Program: Boys Age 6-10
July 17-20/July 24-27

This program’s main emphasis will be learning through FUN! Campers will play together in small-sided games , providing players as many touches as possible. All players will be taught the fundamental skills of the game along with basic team shape. Skill development, fun, and enthusiasm are shared throughout the week.
Campers will be given a NIKE t-shirt and must bring their own age appropriate ball.
Full Day Individual Program: Boys Age 11-16
July 17-20/July 24-27
9:00 am – 3:30 p.m.[9-12 on Thurs.]

The goal of this program is to develop each camper into a more serious soccer player. Players of all levels will improve fundamental skills through dynamic activities and games in a stimulating and challenging environment. Players will be placed in groups according to age and ability. Mornings will emphasize individual skills and afternoons will concentrate on team tactics and games. Video and chalkboard sessions will be incorporated into the afternoons.Players will be provided with a quality NIKE ball and NIKE t-shirt. Campers must bring their own lunch.

Residential Team Program: Boys Age 11-18
July 23-27

This program will follow the same outline as the Residential Elite Program, but will allow teams to train together the full day and play matches as a team. UNM coaches will concentrate on areas requested by team coaches: system of play, team attacking , set plays, etc…Players will be provided with a NIKE ball and NIKE t-shirt.
Residential Elite Program: Boys Age 15-18

The “Elite Program” is designed for the most serious and dedicated players with collegiate or professional playing aspirations. Campers who are entering the 10th grade through their freshmen year in college are invited. Mornings will consist of advanced technical and tactical sessions and will simulate UNM training sessions. Afternoons will involve team chalkboard discussions, video, quickness and speed enhancement training. The evening sessions will conclude with match play. All sessions will be overseen by UNM coaches and will be very physically demanding! Residential campers will stay in the UNM college dorms, eat three meals a day in the UNM dining facility, and have 24-hour supervision while attending camp.

Players will be provided with a NIKE ball and a NIKE t-shirt. Players must also bring their own ball. Also, remember to bring extra cash for pizza snacks at night.
Goalkeeper Academy
Each week we will simultaneously host Goalkeeper Academies. Our goalkeeper coaches include UNM coaches and players. Goalkeepers should register for Full Day Individual, Residential Elite or Team Residential Academies. Morning sessions will be devoted to technical goalkeeper training, while afternoon sessions will involve goalkeepers in team play.

Director: Jeremy Fishbein
Jeremy is the Head Coach of the UNM Men’s Soccer Team. After serving as the Associate Head Coach for the Lobos in 2001, Coach Fishbein became the head coach in the summer of 2002. In his five year tenure with the Lobos the team has won four conference titles, made four trips to the NCAA tournament second round, including the Lobos’ appearnce in the 2005 National Championship game. In 2004 Jeremy was named Soccer America “National Coach of the Year” and is a two-time Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Coach of the Year. He was also named the 2005 Far West Region Coach of the Year. Fishbein has posted a 61-16-8 record in his four seasons at the helm of the Lobo soccer program. He has coached 16 All-Conference, 9 All-Region, two Conference Players of the Year and four All-Americans over the past four seasons. In 2005, four Lobos were named Academic All-Americans.
Coordinator: Carl Junot
Carl is in his fifth year serving as Assistant UNM Men’s Soccer coach. Carl is a graduate of Furman University where he captained the program his senior year and was a member of two NCAA Tournament teams. Carl was a Regional All-American and attended the MLS player combine. Carl is currently the director of Olympic Development for the New Mexico Youth Soccer Association, and is entering his seventh summer of participation with summer academies.
Assistant Coordinator: Jamie Clark
Jamie is a fourth-year assistant UNM Men’s Soccer coach. Coach Clark brings a wealth of knowledge to the UNM program and to our summer camps. Jamie is a graduate of Stanford University where he was the school’s first ever All-American. Jamie played two seasons in the MLS with the San Jose Clash and one year in Scotland with Raith Rovers. Jamie has worked with youth soccer for the past 11 years and is currently involved with youth coaching in Albuquerque.
The remainder of the Lobo Soccer Academy Staff will be comprised of current and former Lobo coaches, college and high school coach from across the country, and Lobo student-athletes. Our staff is among the best in the country.
