The University Of New Mexico Lobos fell Saturday night to the Boise State Broncos 6-1. The loss evens the Lobos record at 2-2 on the young season. This was the second of three matches in the Comcast/First Community Bank Invitational held this weekend at UNM’s Tennis Complex.

New Mexico was strong at both No. 1 positions with Max Jones and Kamil Pajkowski wining their doubles match 8-4 and Jones winning his singles match 6-2, 6-7, 6-4. The victory moves Jones and Pajkowski to 4-0 on the year, while Jones improved his singles record to 2-2.

Despite taking the first set Graeme Kassautzki fell short in his No. 3 singles match versus Clancy Shields 5-7, 7-6, 6-1 the loss evens his singles record at 2-2.

UNM will look to bounce back Sunday against the Illinois St. Redbirds at the UNM Tennis Complex; the teams hit the court at 12 p.m.
