ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico men’s tennis team hosts its annual Balloon Fiesta Invitational this weekend at the UNM Tennis Complex. The tournament, consisting of two singles draws and one doubles draw, has 45 players representing 10 different teams. Participating teams are Air Force, Arizona, College of Santa Fe, Colorado, Denver, New Mexico, New Mexico State, New Mexico Military Institute, Northern Arizona and Texas Tech.
There are seven seeded players in Singles Flight A, with the top spot going to CSF’s Andre Begeman. New Mexico has two seeded players, freshmen Graeme Kassautzki and Johnny Parkes, No. 2 and 5, respectively. In doubles, the top seed also went to the College of Santa Fe’s Begeman and Ricardo Omana.
