Up Next: The No. 2 Lobos travel to Las Vegas, Nev., this weekend to start a three game road trip against UNLV. It is the second of back-to-back matches against the Rebels with UNM winning the first match 7-2 last weekend in Albuquerque. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. (M.D.T.) in Las Vegas.

The Lobos have won the last three games against UNLV, outscoring the Rebels 13-2 in the three previous meetings. Senior forward Jeff Rowland has been especially tough on UNLV. He has six goals and two assists in the last three games against the Rebels, including a hat-trick in last week’s game.

This will be a different UNLV team than the one that came to the UNM Soccer Complex last week. Freshman Deshawn Woolery, a starting midfielder with one goal and three assists, and senior Forrest Smith, a key reserve forward, both received red-cards against Sacramento State and were not eligible to play against the Lobos last week. Both payers should be back in the line-up in Saturday’s match.

The Rebels started the season 2-2-0 but have lost 10-straight matches. They bring in a 2-12-0 record and are 0-5-0 in MPSF action. Follow all of the action from the match on GameTracker at www.GoLobos.com.
