SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Junior Nora Quintal advanced to the consolation quarterfinals after defeating No. 120 Emily Kirchem in the round of 16 at the Wilson/ITA Central Region Championships Friday, Oct. 2, 2005.
This is Quintals first win against a nationally ranked player in her collegiate career. She will play BYU’s Dolly Change tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. to advance to the semifinal round.
