BRYAN, Texas – The No. 5 University of New Mexico men’s golf team finished second at the 14-team Aggie Invitational. The Lobos shot a final round 292 on the par-72, Traditions Golf Course and finished at 8-over par (286-294-292=872). UNM fell two strokes behind team champion No. 1 Oklahoma State who finished at 6-over par (290-290-290=870).

Individually for the Lobos, junior Spencer Levin (67-69-74=210) finished in a tie for first with Anthony Kim of Oklahoma at 6-under par. Sophomore Charlie Beljan (71-71-71=213) finished right behind Levin in a tie forthird at 3-under par. Senior Madalitso Muthiya (74-78-70=222) made the biggest move of the day from a tie for 38th to a tie for 18th at 6-over par, including a 2-under par 70 today. Other UNM results were junior JayChoi (74-78-77=229) and senior Miguel Griego (76-76-77=229) tied for 40th at 13-over par.

The Lobos return to the course on April 28th for the MWC Championships in Sunriver, Oregon.
