Laramie, Wyo. – The No. 37 University of New Mexico women’s tennis team capped a flawless weekend on the road with a 7-0 sweep of Mountain West Conference competitor Wyoming today in Laramie, Wyo. The Lobos remain undefeated in the conference with a 4-0 record, 12-7 overall.

It was an all around team effort by the Lobos as they cruised through the doubles portion and won all six singles matches in just two sets each.

New Mexico is nearing the end of its road schedule. The squad plays its last two matches on the road next weekend as it travels to Colorado Springs, Colo. for neutral matches against BYU and Utah. BYU, which has been nationally ranked in the top-25 for most of the season will be the biggest challenge for New Mexico. Utah will also be a good test for the Lobos as it has been hovering around the third spot in the MWC ranks.

The match against BYU is scheduled for Friday, April 8 at 2 p.m. (MST) and the Utah match will be held Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. (MST).
