The University of New Mexico men’s golf team is tied for ninth after two rounds of the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship in Las Vegas, Nev. The Lobos shot a 1-over-par 289 in today’s second round, moving them to 16-over-par (592) for the tournament. UNLV holds the two-round lead in the tournament at one-under par (575).

The Lobos were led by junior Spencer Levin’s five-under-par 67. He is now tied for second place at -4 (73-67=140) after two rounds and trails South Carolina’s Mark Anderson by two strokes. Individually for the Lobos are Jay Choi +3 (76-71=147), Charlie Beljan +6 (76-74=150), Mark Anderson +12 (79-77=156) and Miguel Griego +17 (78-83=161).
