The University of New Mexico will close out the regular season this weekend with trips to Colorado State and Wyoming. First up for the Lobos will be the Rams on Thursday night in Fort Collins. UNM enters the game 21-4 on the season and 10-2 in the MWC, while CSU is 14-11 overall and 5-7 in conference. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. Thursday from Moby Arena and can be heard live on KNML 610 AM.

TONIGHT’S GAME:Tonight’s game features the Lobos of the University of New Mexico is on the road playing the Rams of Colorado State University.

SCOUTING NEW MEXICOThe Lobos enter tonight’s game with a 21-4 record and 10-2 in the MWC with losses to No. 7 Texas (75-56), No.11 Minnesota (75-35), UNLV (63-60) and BYU (55-46) and wins over New Mexico State (57-44) and Oklahoma State (60-56), Missouri (67-58), Gonzaga (76-54), Bowling Green (73-43), San Diego (58-50), No. 23 Arizona State (61-45), New Mexico State (56-27), San Francisco (63-52), Morgan State (101-22), Utah Valley State (69-29), Air Force (72-58), BYU (64-51), Utah (61-55), San Diego St. (72-53), Wyoming (62-49), Colorado State (75-49), Air Force (77-69), Utah (70-63), San Diego State (78-58) and UNLV (68-65). New Mexico’s leading scorer on the season is freshman Dionne Marsh at 11.5 ppg., followed by senior Lindsey Arndt at 10.5 ppg. Arndt also leads the Lobos in rebounding at 6.2 rpg. and senior Mandi Moore leads UNM in assists at 5.1 apg.

SCOUTING COLORADO STATEThe Rams enter the contest with a 14-11 record and are 5-7 in the MWC, with wins over San Francisco 72-64, Iona 108-59, UAB 82-57, Pepperdine 64-58, Texas Pan American 77-36, Tennessee Martin 95-49, Northern Colorado 69-59, Denver 67-47, Montana 65-53, San Diego State 63-50, UNLV 69-66, Wyoming 61-51, Air Force 62-49 and San Diego State 56-49 and losses to Notre Dame 69-47, Colorado 83-77, Oregon 66-57, Connecticut 63-44, Utah 68-50, BYU 74-54, New Mexico 75-49, BYU 59-47, UNLV 71-58, Wyoming 68-45 and Utah 77-69. CSU is led in scoring and rebounding by Melissa Dennett at 14.3 ppg. and 8.2 rpg. Vanessa Espinoza leads the team in assists at 3.2 apg.
