The Lobos lose consecutive games for the first time this year with a 69-58 setback at Utah…UNM falls to 14-4 overall and 1-2 in the MWC…the Utes have won 11 in a row overall and are 72-4 in home conference games the past 11 years
New Mexico has lost 16 straight to Utah in Salt Lake City, the last win coming in 1989…the Lobos are 5-49 all-time at Utah, 4-32 in the Huntsman Center
UNM has dropped 21 straight regular-season conference road games, 24 in a row including the MWC Tournament
The 58 points are a season-low for the Lobos…UNM came into the game averaging 81.8 ppg

New Mexico came into the game No. 1 in the nation in FG% at 52.5%, but shot just 39.6% (21-53), which is the 2nd-lowest accuracy of the season
Utah shot 62.8% (27-43) from the floor, the highest allowed by UNM this season…the previous best was 50.8% (32-63) by New Mexico State on Dec. 1…Utah’s accuracy is the highest against a Lobo team since Texas Tech made 65.6% (42-64) on Dec. 18, 2002
