Albuquerque, N.M. – The University of New Mexico women’s tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule Saturday at the UNM Fall Invite as it took on New Mexico State in a doubles round and San Diego University in singles. No. 41 Maja Kovacek had a huge win over No. 35 ranked San Diego singles player Emma Murphy at the No. 1 spot while No. 62 Iva Gersic defeated No. 80 Lauren Perl of USD at the No. 2 singles position.

New Mexico begins their regular spring season near the end of January. New regional rankings will be released on November 30 and national rankings will be announced January 11.
