Tulsa, Okla. – The University of New Mexico women’s tennis team added two more players to the singles main draw as sophomore Nora Quintal and freshman Lucy Scott advanced from the qualifying round of 64 at the Wilson/ITA Region V Championships Wednesday in Tulsa, Okla. Quintal and Scott will join teammates Michelle Heidbrink, Iva Gersic and Maja Kovacek in the singles main round of 64 tomorrow.
The doubles teams of Kovacek and Gersic, Heidbrink and Scott, and Quintal and Jennifer Ryba will also start competition tomorrow in the main doubles draw of 32. Matches begin at 7 a.m. (MDT).
