Pacific Palisades, Calif.– Junior Maja Kovacek ended her run today in the singles qualifying round of the Riviera/ITA Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif. after dropping a three set match to No. 59 Story Tweedie-Yates of TCU (3-6,6-1,6-2).
Kovacek and sophomore Iva Gersic are back on the court tomorrow as they participate in the doubles main draw of 16 at the Riviera/ITA Championships. The Lobo duo is set to face a pair from Michigan, match time is 3 p.m. (MDT).
