ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico men’s golf team is currently second after 36-holes of play at the 50th annual William H. Tucker Invitational. The Lobos shot rounds of 286 and 283 for a 7-under par 569 on the par-72 7,350 yard UNM Championship Golf Course. UNM trails team leader Arizona (279-284=563) by six strokes.

Individually, junior Spencer Levin led New Mexico. Levin shot rounds of 71 and 65 for an 8-under par 136 and trails Henry Liaw of Arizona (67-68=135) by one stroke. Other individual results for the Lobos is senior Jay Reynolds (75-69=144) is tied for 15th at even-par, senior Miguel Griego (70-75=145) and sophomore Charlie Beljan (71-74=145) are tied for 20th at 1-over par and senior Madalitso Muthiya (74-75=149) is tied for 45th at 5-over par.

The 50th annual William H. Tucker will conclude tomorrow with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. The Lobos are scheduled to tee off hole number one beginning at 9:12 a.m. at the UNM Championship Golf Course. For full results go to www.golfstat.com.
