Complete 2004-05 Men’s Basketball Schedule
Season tickets for 2004-05 New Mexico men’s basketball go on sale to the general public Wednesday, September 29, at 8:30 a.m., at the ticket office at The Pit. The Lobos return four starters and 8 letterwinners from last year’s squad, including 2005 All-American candidate Danny Granger. A 1st team all-Mountain West Conference performer last season, Granger and fellow seniors Troy DeVries and Alfred Neale are ready to attack an exciting schedule and fight for a MWC championship.
The 21-game home schedule begins Nov. 1 with an exhibition against Eastern New Mexico. The regular season gets underway with the NABC Classic on November 12-14 at The Pit. New Mexico welcomes Santa Clara, Duquesne and North Carolina A&T for the three-day round-robin event. The non-conference schedule is highlighted by games against Tennessee on Dec. 18 and highly ranked Wake Forest on Dec. 22. The Lobos start conference play on January 8 against Wyoming.
