Provo, Utah – The University of New Mexico women’s tennis team finished its final day at the BYU Invitational Saturday as UNM placed first place in flights one, two and six of singles competition.
Top UNM players Maja Kovacek and Iva Gersic each placed first in their flights while Lobo freshman Jennifer Ryba took first at the sixth singles flight.
Kovacek and Gersic are back on the courts on October 5-6 for the All-America ITA/Riviera Qualifying Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
