Season tickets for 2004-05 New Mexico women’s basketball go on sale to the general public Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., at the ticket office at The Pit. The ticket office is open weekdays 8:30-5. Nearly 7,000 season tickets have already been renewed from last year. Ticket prices start at $114 for bench seats and $152 for chairbacks. Call 925-5626 for more information.
The Lobos return four starters and 11 letterwinners from last year’s team that tied for the Mountain West Conference regular-season title, captured the MWC Tournament crown for the second year in a row and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third straigt year.
The 19-game home schedule begins Nov. 9 with an exhibition against the West Coast All-Stars. The non-conference schedule is highlighted by games against Texas on Dec. 4 and Arizona State on Dec. 18.
