SEASIDE, Calif. – Spencer Levin continues to play outstanding golf as he won the Scratch Players Championship in Seaside, California on July 2. Levin who finished 13th and was the low amateur two weeks ago at the U.S. Open and last week won the California State Amateur, finished his third week with the 72-hole Scratch Players Championship.
Levin shot rounds of 70-71-68-71 on the par-72 Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside, Calif., for his second consecutive victory. Levin’s 280 was 10 shots better then Peter Tomasulo the currently ranked number one amateur in the U.S.
