Athens, Ga.– The No. 8 University of New Mexico doubles team of sophomore Maja Kovacek and senior Sandy Lukowski advance to the round of 16 after defeating the fourth-seeded and fifth nationally-ranked Arizona doubles team of Dianne Hollands and Maja Mlakar, 7-6, 6-0, today at the NCAA doubles tournament in Athens, Ga.
In the round of 16, Kovacek and Lukowski will face Jessica Roland and Helga Vieira from Texas A&M tomorrow at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens. Match time (TBD). Check www.georgiadogs.com later in the evening for specific match times.
