INDIANAPOLIS– The NCAA Women’s Tennis Committee announced today the individuals who will compete in the singles and doubles portions of the NCAA Championship in Athens, Ga. May 24-29. UNM’s sophomore Maja Kovacek received an at-large bid to the singles tournament and was also selected with partner senior Sandy Lukowski for the doubles championship. The New Mexico duo were automatic qualifiers because of their No. 8 national ranking.
The singles tournament is scheduled to start on May 24 while the doubles tournament will begin on May 25 .
The official bracket for the singles and doubles tournament will be announced at a later time (TBD).
