Registration: June 10th – 12:00 PM
L.F. “Tow” Diehm Facility (Stadium)

Eligibility: Open to anyone entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2004.

Camp Cost: Individual Day Camper-$180,Overnight Camper-$200

Lunch/Dinner provided for ALL campers. In addition, OvernightCampers will receive Breakfast and Snacks.

10 – 19 Players $120 each
20 – 29 Players $110 each
30 Plus Players $100 each

Strength & Speed Training
“The University of New Mexico strength and conditioning programhas gained national recognition by focusing on overall strengthdevelopment and athletic improvement. You will learn football-specific weight lifting as well as performing Olympic lifts,plyometrics and other training methods.”

Trainers
A full time University of New Mexico Athletic Training Staff will be onduty for the duration of the camp.

Supervision
Lobo coaches will stay with the campers each night of the camp.Campers are expected to abide by all camp rules and regulations.

DEFENSE

DL “Focus will be on maximizing individuals’ talents. Areas to becovered are pass rush techniques, footwork and agility, along withD-line fundamentals.”

LB “This phase of the camp will emphasize the very sametechniques that are taught to UNM linebackers, including passdrops, man coverage tech., as well as blitzing skills and runrecognition.”

Safeties “The safeties will be instructed in solid defensive backfundamentals, including man coverage techniques, blitz angles,zone coverage, tackling, play recognition, block protection andtake-away skills.”

Corners “Drills to stress the proper stance, feet, hand placement,backpedal and tackling techniques will be taught. Also,fundamentals of both zone and bump-and-run coverages.”

Kickers/Punters “Top notch techniques and drills will be used toimprove as a kicker, punter and deep snapper.”

OFFENSE
QB “All QB’s will be taught proper throwing fundamentals. Aneleven-drill warmup series will be presented. Also included will bethe 3 & 5 step drop along with sprintout techniques. In addition,various game mechanics will be taught.”

RB “YAC’s (Yards After Contact). Ball security, TCB (Taking Care ofthe Ball), run technique and polish overall skills.”

WR/TE “Wide Receivers will learn stance, release techniques,route progression, and ball catching skills. TE’s, being productivein run game or pass game is our goal.”

Camp Highlights

Great opportunity to improve as an individual and team. Positionwork with UNM coaches in morning, Passing Tournament inafternoon. Camp structured for all O-Line and D-Line; position work, video,weight room, competitions, individual fundamental work with UNMcoaches daily A.M. & P.M. Passing Tournament had over 30 high schools represented lastyear. Guaranteed 9 games of 7 on 7, plus Playoffs. Championshipgame played in the Stadium. 1/2 Hour provided for HS coaches to spend with team each dayprior to passing tournament. Tee Shirts and Hats for winners of all competitions. Those campers who do not come with a HS team will beassigned to 7 on 7 Renegade Teams made up of otherindividuals.
